Amir is an accomplished Structural Engineer with over 16 years’ experience in New Zealand and the Middle East. His primary skillset is in structural design, analysis, and forensic engineering on a wide variety of structures.

Amir has a PhD in structural engineering and has contributed his technical expertise to around 20 international research papers on the topic of earthquake engineering. His professional experience whilst working in his native Iran included developing guidelines for seismic assessment, and five years lecturing in a university in Iran.

Amir is committed to performance-based design, structural dynamics, and advanced numerical analysis. In addition to these specialist abilities, Amir manages multi-disciplinary teams, and enjoys collaborating with clients and contractors to successfully deliver projects.
His professional achievements include Manners Street, Wellesley boutique hotel and the Wellington Children’s Hospital.
