Graduate/Intermediate Structural Drafter (Wellington)
Miyamoto is a seismic focused engineering consultancy offering a variety of services, including structural and geotechnical engineering. Our unique, holistic range of innovative engineering and construction consultancy services are tailored for New Zealand and are backed by our partnership with Miyamoto International, with offices strategically located worldwide in earthquake-prone regions.
The Opportunity
This is a full time, permanent role (40 hours per week). As a Structural Drafter, you will be exposed to a wide variety of design and drafting activities including preparing and translating detailed design into the appropriate level of documentation required for the successful delivery of projects. Miyamoto projects range across civil infrastructure, groundworks, retaining structures, industrial, commercial, and residential buildings.
About You
The role is suited to a drafter with project and design capabilities and a commitment to advancing their personal growth. You will need to have a relevant tertiary or technical qualification with a minimum of 2 years’ relevant drafting experience in New Zealand. Our ideal candidate will be proficient in Revit and AutoCAD, it would be a bonus if you had experience in the telecommunications sector.
In addition, you will have a full, valid New Zealand driver’s license and either NZ or Australian citizenship or relevant NZ work visa
