Dave is Miyamoto’s 3D Scanning Technical Lead. He has worked on a broad range of projects, including the residential insurance sector, and seismic strengthening works of commercial and heritage buildings.

Dave is a strong proponent of using 3D Scanning technology to improve design outcomes. In practice this means capturing data and extracting information for surveys, as-is condition assessments, and modelling. He’s passionate about educating both clients and colleagues about the considerable benefits of complementing their projects with this service.

Dave’s background in people management means he is a skilled communicator and is highly committed to delivering exceptional outcomes for clients.

Significant projects include the Kainga Ora and EQC/Southern Response workstreams, Wellesley Boutique hotel, US Antarctic Program Christchurch Facility and the CentrePort pre-construction As-Is assessment.
