Eleanor is a Structural Engineer with five years’ experience gained in New Zealand and Canada.

She specialises in seismic assessments of earthquake prone buildings, and seismic strengthening. Eleanor takes a holistic approach to building strengthening to target deficiencies and aims to minimise intrusion and reduce visual impacts when improving building performance. She uses innovative solutions where possible, such as viscous dampers and central coring with post-tensioning. Her skillset extends to 3D computer modelling for building performance assessment, probable maximum loss assessments, project management, and bespoke residential design.

Eleanor is passionate about the important role structural engineers play in building resilient communities. A devotee of heritage structures, Eleanor focuses on making them more earthquake resilient. She recognises the important role buildings play in a community and reducing damage speeds up community recovery and preserves cultural value.
