Ivo is the lead Engineer for insurance clients. He has over 15 years’ experience as a structural Engineer in both New Zealand and Australia.

Ivo’s expertise in project design includes timber-framed residential dwellings, large-scale commercial and industrial buildings, bridges and marine structures. He is skilled in forensic examination of damaged buildings, and general project management.

A career highlight was his contribution to the design phase of the South East Asia Risk Management Project. This involved seismic retrofitting of 20 buildings in Yangon, Myanmar. Ivo co-ordinated multifaceted deliverables as part of a global multidisciplinary team.

Ivo has specialist knowledge as an Expert Witness in technical disputes. He takes great satisfaction in seeing a complex case resolved to both parties’ mutual benefit.
