Working with a specialised team of drafters, you will be responsible for all our drafting requirements and outputs creating high quality engineering drawings. You will have a high level of experience in Revit with knowledge of AutoCAD.

Your expertise and proven leadership skills will be effective in translating written and verbal specifications, including complex structural layouts and drawings, ensuring drafting resources within the team are allocated effectively and efficiently so designs across a varied range of building structures and projects are delivered on time to a consistently high standard. You will work closely with our team of results focused structural engineers and project managers with client satisfaction and project deadlines as your common objectives.

Attention to detail and order, ensuring document controls are well-established and maintained and that notes, design calculations and other documentation can always be retrieved easily are fundamental to this position.

Minimum experience, skills and attributes for success in this role are:

  • 5 years’ experience in a similar role working to New Zealand codes and construction practices
  • 10 years’ experience in a drafting role
  • Experience managing a drafting team
  • Highly experienced in the use of Revit and Auto Cad
  • Solution focused and able to work collaboratively at all levels within the organisation
  • Self-motivated and career driven
